I stumbled across Zeal in a magazine. It's a GUI for displaying the documentation for various different programming languages and tools all in one place. There are also plugins for various different IDE and text editors. I use the Atom browser and installed atom-zeal. Now all I have to do is put the cursor over a word in my code, press ctrl-h and up pops zeal with the relevant documentation.
